So much happening for our little group that 2025 will be a fantastic year!  Zine in April, art show in June, a potential in December (plus one more), outreach opportunities, and more!!  You know I’m always excited about looking for ways that you guys can make more money!

Oh, and stay tuned for the next Germantown Community Theatre art show as well – we love how good they are to us!

MSCA News- Cold Off The Prez!

Greetings, to all our favorite ink slinging, pencil pushing, digital doodling, wordsmithing, and enthusiast/collector folks!

Usually, I’ve already submitted a mid-month email; but, the month has been busy (and/or I’ve been lazy).  But, there are a few things still worth sharing, so let me get this to you by reminding you…

As I write this, we’re expecting snow tonight so I have to run and get a loaf of bread, a container of milk, and a stick of butter.  (10 points if you get that reference!

“Drawing Funny” MSCA 2024 Review Pt. 1 & 2

Happy New Year! Two new “Drawing Funny” podcast episodes are now available, and they are the first episodes of 2025! Episode 71 – “MSCA 2024 Review Pt. 1” is the first part of my 2024 year end wrap-up review conversation with Mid-South Cartoonists Association/MSCA president Kevin L. Williams. Kev and I grabbed some dinner after work, and then discussed the very busy year our local cartooning association experienced in 2024. We had a full two and a half pages of notes to go over, so I broke it into two episodes and am releasing them back to back. MSCA Monthly Dinner Meet-up And Annual Holiday Art Swap Is A Wrap!

Last night was our last 2024 MSCA Monthly Dinner Meet-up at Garibaldi’s Pizza. Monthly meet-ups are free and open to the public. Just bring a few bucks to order off the menu, and be sure to introduce yourself. We always love to have folks bring along what they’ve been working on to show the group, talk toons, draw on jam pieces, work on tablets/laptops/sketchbooks, or doodle on napkins with us!
